Digital navigators are familiar with their community’s resources related to digital equity and address the complete digital inclusion process—home connectivity, access to and use of devices, and digital skills—by assisting community members with ongoing, individualized support. NDIA’s digital navigator model is a replicable framework for organizations currently providing or aspiring to provide digital inclusion services.

Honor Roll of Low-Cost Plans

Everyone deserves affordable internet access. NDIA created the Honor Roll of Low-Cost Plans to connect communities with low-incomes to discount broadband plans offered by Internet Service Providers (ISPs). While offering more affordable choices is positive, varying factors can make it challenging to understand which plans meet their needs. We regularly update this page as information is made available.

NDIA Recommended for NTIA Grant to Expand Digital Navigator Program

NDIA celebrates all the organizations recommended for a Digital Equity Act Competitive Grant award today. This is an incredible moment for the United States – strengthening our global competitiveness by investing in the digital readiness of our people. All the prospective awardees, including NDIA’s 13 sub-grantees, are trusted institutions and experts at increasing reliable access to the internet and devices while providing digital skills training and support.

We advocate for local, state, and federal policies to promote digital equity and support local digital inclusion strategies.
NDIA Executive Director Delivers Congressional Testimony

NDIA Executive Director Angela Siefer delivered her third testimony on digital inclusion before Congress in December 2022. The hearing was held by the US Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation through the Subcommittee on Communications, Media, and Broadband.
