On November 17, 2017, NDIA hosted a conversation between FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn and NDIA Affiliates. Commissioner Clyburn explained the recent proposals the FCC had approved, which ones she disagreed with and why. NDIA Affiliates were given the opportunity to ask her questions. Many expressed their support for Commissioner Clyburn’s positions. Just as importantly, the conversation helped Commissioner Clyburn become more aware of NDIA Affiliates and their on-the-ground digital inclusion work.
