NDIA is delighted to announce Miles Miller as NDIA’s Public Policy Specialist through the MDF 2020 Tech Exchange Grant!

NDIA was selected as a site for a Media Democracy Fund Tech Exchange Fellow. Within NDIA, this position will be a Public Policy Specialist. If we are successful with fundraising, the position will continue beyond the year of the fellowship. We’re excited to have Miles’ expanding our capacity and providing a new perspective on our work.

Miles hails from the city of Cape Town, South Africa, and attended the University of Pretoria for his undergraduate and Honor’s degrees, majoring in Urban Geography and minoring in Spanish and Music for both. Upon graduation, Miles was accepted into the Master’s program of Public Policy and Urban Planning at the University of Delaware, with a thesis-project focus on the bifurcation of low-income neighborhoods by Interstate highway construction. Prior to joining the National Digital Inclusion Alliance, Miles has worked for the US State Department as an associate Grant Coordinator under the banner of the US-Middle Eastern Partnership Initiative, the Delaware Center for Community Research and Service and, most recently, the Arizona Department of Economic Security as a policy analyst.
