EBB Speakers Bureau
NDIA is offering two types of presentations for communities, affiliates, and friends who would like to learn more about the EBB Program:
-
- Monthly webinars for June, July & August
- Individual and group presentations on the EBB program and other federal digital inclusion funding opportunities
The webinars will cover a general overview of the EBB program, real-time information we’re gathering from affiliates and partners about its implementation, updates from the Federal Communications Commission and Universal Service Administrative Company on its implementation, and what to expect moving forward.
Webinars will be held once a month on the following dates: June 25th, July 23rd, and August 27th
In addition to the monthly webinars, NDIA is also available to provide a presentation to your local organization, coalition, or group of partners. NDIA created a short 15-20 minute explainer presentation to assist our affiliates and coalitions in preparing and navigating the EBB program.
If you and your partners would like NDIA to present information about the Emergency Broadband Benefit and/or federal stimulus funds that may be used for digital equity work, please contact [email protected] to set up a time. We look forward to working with you.
The EBB Speakers Bureau is made possible with support from Comcast Internet Essentials Program.
The Emergency Broadband Benefit is the first significant acknowledgment by our federal government that affordability is a barrier to internet service in the home. This is an incredible first step. Next up – a permanent broadband benefit, support for digital literacy training, digital navigators and devices. Technology is woven into every aspect of our lives and our society. Digital access and use is a tool that, when used successfully by more of us, collectively strengthens our economy, health, education, social and civic participation.
