NDIA’s Executive Director Angela Siefer will be testifying before a subcommittee of the US Senate on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 10 a.m. EST at a hearing entitled “Ensuring Solutions to Meet America’s Broadband Needs.” 

We’re thrilled to be among the few witnesses at this hearing and the key voice advocating for the advancement of digital equity. We’re also humbled to be able to represent YOU – the NDIA community of 1,000+ affiliates – before US Congress. Angela’s last testimony before Congress was prior to the pandemic, in January 2020.

U.S. Senator Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.), Chair of the Subcommittee on Communications, Media and Broadband, will convene the subcommittee hearing to “examine ongoing and past efforts within the public and private sectors to bring affordable, resilient and secure broadband to all communities.” The Subcommittee is housed under the US Senate Committee on Commerce, Science & Transportation.
