Join us for Digital Inclusion Week (DIW), an annual nationwide event dedicated to raising awareness about digital equity and the vital importance of inclusion in our increasingly digital world. This week-long event showcases the collective efforts to bridge the digital divide and highlights the impactful work being done to ensure everyone has access to technology and the internet. This year, DIW takes place on October 4-10, 2026.
Anyone can host a Digital Inclusion Week Event!
Whether you’re an individual passionate about digital inclusion or part of a larger organization, your participation is invaluable! Here are a few examples of who can get involved:
Individuals: Share data about the state of digital inclusion in your community on social media
Non-profits and Community Organizations: Host a device distribution event, hold a digital inclusion conference or launch a digital inclusion pilot program
Libraries: Organize a digital skills training class or host a “device drop-in” informal session
Schools and Higher Education: Host a workshop on internet safety or partner with a community organization and host a hotspot distribution event
Local Government: Issue a Digital Inclusion Week Proclamation, light up a bridge in teal to “bridge the digital divide”
Your involvement, no matter how big or small, helps us celebrate collective efforts and brings critical attention on the importance of digital equity!
