Seven Star Communities are Tribal governments, political subdivisions, or Tribal organizations who are serving Native people and lands. They are models of excellence for sustainable connectivity solutions that address the educational, health, economic, cultural, and social needs of their Tribal community.
The 2025 Awardees
The interactive table below presents the 2025 awardees and the materials that they submitted for recognition. Select an organization to learn about their programs and work, including job descriptions, direct impact stories, digital equity strategies, and more. You can use the Filter and Search functions at the top left of the table to search for specific items such as organization or contact name.
Sharing Knowledge Based in Community
One of the guiding principles of the Seven Star Communities program is to serve as a peer knowledge-sharing resource for documents, resources, and best practices produced by and for Tribes that enhance digital inclusion for their communities. To achieve this goal, we have compiled the materials submitted by the awardees into the open resource repository below. The resources are organized by the program categories, making it easy to find relevant examples of different types of digital inclusion work. You can use the Filter and Search functions at the top of the table to refine the resource list by indicator or community.
Stand with NDIA in the fight for digital equity.
Across the country, older adults are struggling as they attempt to navigate telehealth appointments. Parents without affordable home internet options are seeing their children fall behind in school. Adult job seekers without digital skills are having difficulty competing in the online job market.
Stand with NDIA as we work to protect the essential investments that would advance digital access, skills, and opportunities for people and communities nationwide.
