Digital Navigator Boundary Basics Handout

Digital navigator work can be hard. Community members may come to us with any number of problems, some of which may have nothing to do with why we’re there. They may ask us for help for something we can’t help with (money, rides, housing) or confuse our relationship for something other than a professional one. Setting good boundaries is the key to making sure that we have the emotional and time capacity to do our work without burning out.

This handout is meant to be used to give digital navigators and digital navigator program managers a quick introduction to setting health boundaries and inspire discussion on how to apply this skill in their work.
